Andre Schurrle
The World Cup winner enjoyed a fine spell with Wolfsburg, after being let go by Chelsea, but has encountered problems once again in Germany after signing for Borussia Dortmund in a club-record deal back in 2016.
As such, Andre Schurrle is free to leave the German giants and Newcastle are in the hunt for his services, battling West Brom for a loan deal, although Dortmund could try and push through a permanent sale to recoup a fee.
Schurrle needs football to assure himself of a spot in Germany’s World Cup squad this summer and Newcastle could provide the opportunity for that, whilst the versatile midfielder would hand the Magpies a huge boost.
