A player of Gameiro’s calibre would significantly improve a forward line that has struggled in front of goal this season, scoring just 22 times in 23 matches, and his arrival would provide a massive boost- especially to the fans.
His signature would not come cheap but Newcastle would be getting a striker with a solid record in front of goal.
