Gerard Deulofeu
After returning to Barcelona from Everton, Gerard Deulofeu has found it difficult to secure regular first-team action and it seems his chances will be increasingly limited following the capture of Phillipe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele’s return from injury.
Barcelona are said to be keen on cashing in on the Spanish international but a fee of around £18m would be required to land his services, which would represent a club-record deal for Newcastle as it would eclipse the £16m spent on Michael Owen in 2005.
It would certainly be money well spent though as Deulofeu has proven himself to be a tremendous player, excelling with AC Milan last season and impressing for his national side.
