Derby County are prepared to sell winger Tom Ince in the summer for £10m in order to help fund manager Gary Rowett’s summer transfer plans, according to the Mirror.

The paper says news of Derby’s apparent willingness to listen to offers will spark the interest of Newcastle United who reportedly tried to sign Ince in the January transfer window.

It is believed manager Rafa Benitez could make a bid that includes centre back Grant Hanley as part of the deal. The Chronicle report the Scottish international will be allowed to leave St James’ Park in the summer and Derby’s interest is well known after the Rams reportedly offered £4m for the defender not that long ago.

The Magpies are definitely looking for a winger in the summer transfer window, and after top scoring for County with 15 goals in all competitions this season, Ince may well be given another chance to play in the Premier League after brief spells with Crystal Palace and Hull City.
