As popular a figure as Karl Darlow is, the 27-year-old has shown signs he’s culpable to a slip-up lately. Clearly, the former Nottingham Forest ace has played a big part for Newcastle this term, though he was at fault for Brentford’s equaliser two weeks ago and almost allowed Rotherham an opener last weekend.
With Matz Sels seemingly having a starting berth in cup competitions, the Belgian can at least ramp up the pressure on Darlow.
