Papiss Cisse Makes Life EasierFollowing Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat to neighbours Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League last night, it now turns out that Sir Alex Ferguson needs a favour from Newcastle if his team is to lift the title yet again.

With just two games left in the Premier League for both Man United and City, it’s now Roberto Mancini’s men who hold the advantage, as their goal difference is far superior going into their match at St James’ Park at the weekend.

Given that Man City’s last game of the season is at the Etihad against QPR, whose away record is dreadful, you have to feel that Newcastle are Man United’s last hope and there’s one man who the Red Devils will be relying on to find the back of the net once again.

Papiss Cisse may not have found the back of the net against Wigan at the weekend (he did comes close as he hit both the bar and the post), but the Senegal striker had scored in six consecutive Premier League matches before the game at the DW Stadium.

Man City are more vulnerable away from home as well, having conceded 17 goals on the road as opposed to just ten at the Etihad, and Man United fans, and of course Newcastle supporters, will hope that Cisse can make that 18 at least.

Well, Manchester United fans and Fergie, Papiss Cisse has this simple message for you…

As a City fan, the ideal result would be City losing against Newcastle, and Utd losing against whatever chumps they’re playing.

I’d love to see Newcastle in the champions league, instead of Chelsea or Spurs. Just love it.

“All City fans know all you jordies hate us”

cityBlue, I am often amused by your blog, (this is our city), but you go too far in your attacks on other clubs and their supporters – you don’t speak for all City fans, nor do you know if, as above, all Geordies hate us, so please don’t make out as if your opinion represents us all.

By winding up opposition fans before a big match, you put real travelling fans in physical danger by causing tension where there is none – someone could get really hurt as a direct result of your vitriol from last season, I urge you to wind your neck in as a mark of respect to the fans who attend games.

My brother lives in Newcastle now and was a season ticket holder for a couple of years before the kids came along, it’s a great Northern City with passionate fans, same as Manchester City, let the rivalry play out on the pitch as it should be, and may the best team win 🙂

I don’t care who lives in Newcastle, anyone can claim to be any clubs fan and spill their bile on here, pretending to be someone they are not.

But even if you are really a City fan and regular visitor to my blog, then you would know I couldn’t give a sht what you think.

Newcastles fans are two faced just like the rags, like Everton fans they claim to have an afinity with us until their club and City collide. since the fecking Ben Arfa accident they have bitched about us and slagged us off, I infiltrated Newcastle boards and blog to witness the fall out with thousands of Newcastle fans attacking City.

I couldn’t care less what Geordies think, but I won’t stand there and listen to two faced idiot Georadies that claim they have a damn afinity with us because I havee witnessed otherwise. (Thousands)

I hate two faced people more than I hate the rags, the arrogant bastard Geordies forever bang on about how we are buying the league as much as the rags ‘I mean wtf’, their club have spent enough.

Why should I show them respect when they clearly show Manchester City and City fans any behind our backs.

You keep your little Geordie friends but I ain’t buying it, tbh I don’t even buy you being a City fan come to think of it.

When you say “You keep your little Geordie friends”, that would be my brother, (who married a geordie lass he met at Uni, who loves footy and got a season ticket with her to watch the barcodes, not that he supports them, he just enjoys the games etc.), and my two nephews, (both Toon fans rightly so) who I respect and love, just like my other two brothers who are City fans, various Manchester based relatives, all regular matchgoers and season ticket holders, so yes I will keep them close to my heart.

I’m not a season ticket holder due to my job, but I do go regularly with my brothers and cousins, nephews and nieces, and Sky plus every game.

Also my wife is a Rag, as are many other friends and relatives, so I know all about football rivalry, and where it should stop – sadly on Monday night there was brawling in our local pubs in Timperley, the Sylvan and the Moss Trooper, no doubt in pubs all over Manchester – your blog isn’t helping, nor is your continuing baiting of opposition fans.

I’ve read enough of your blog to believe you’re a City fan, but you missed my main point – by winding up opposition fans, someone’s going to get a hiding because you personally are stoking up the fires, instead of sensibly calming things down. Maybed one of your old friends or relatives will get hospitalised when they are unlucky enough to be that fan in the wrong place, wrong time?

Have you not been to a match and nearly got a pasting from a random gang of opposition fans looking for easy victims? Don’t you know someone who has been battered for no other reason than the club they support?

I doubt it’ll affect you, because, if I’m not mistaken, you live in Portsmouth (or similar southern towm), and don’t actually go to matches anymore, but spare a thought for those who do.

You don’t have to believe I’m a City fan, all you have to do is support your club and that includes the fans too.

as a manutd fan, id say “chill ive got this” pic is awesome 😉

  • Rookster says:

Well done you’ve had a great season. I personally am scared to death of the game on Sunday, because the turnaround at your club has been almost as good as ours, but you’ve bought much cheaper, and bought class. Cisse, Ba, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, all class. Just wish it didn’t mean so damn much. By the way the majority of city fans are football lovers and just love the club. But as in every club you get the minority of idiots. It might be better to take 5th this season, settle into Europa league first, it helped us. Tc and good luck friends.

  • mike collins says:

  • Rookster says:

Hey Rookster, what you doing stealing my screen name?

    • rookster says:

sorry mate I made the name up 10 years ago because I love playing chess. My email is rookster which ive had for years, so you have my name not the other way round lol. cheers.

  • toon1892 says:

I like Cityblue, he speaks a lot of sense though he’s overly aggressive.

  • brennt says:

as a manutd fan, i’d like to say cityblue is right about you geordies, you did make a right meal of the Ben Arfa incident.

  • CiTyBlUe says:

No I’m CiTyBlUe & despite agreeing with some of what the imposter has said, I know not all Newcastle fans are tools. Those that made a meal like Brennt points out, are hypocrites after encouraging and supporting Joey Barton.

  • CiTyBlUe says:

    City win 3-1

  • Tom Jones says:

Look at me, I could pretend to be the author of this article and you’d be none the wiser, bit of a lame comment system don’t you think.

  • Eric the King says:

I’m a loyal Man U fan and Newcastle United are the team of the season. Pardew is manager of the season and I always enjoy watching Newcastle on MOTD. Cracking team and the best goalscorer in the league. I hope you can hold on to Cisse in the summer, if you do, you’ve got another Shearer on your hands. Oh and good luck on Saturday.

  • rookster says:

Ive always been rookster I made the name up 10 years ago because I love playing chess. My email is rookster, so sorry mate I didnt steal your name, you stole mine mate sorry.

  • ManU Fan says:

I am so amused. Whats all this… I hate ManCity, I hate Newcastle, I love Liverpool

  • ManU Fan says:

    and Everton

  • ManCity Diehard Supporter says:

The above comment from ManU Fan is written by a AS Roma fan from my cooking class posing as a Man United fan trying to drum up some hatred against city. I know this for fact and find it lame and funny
In fact most city fans love way Newcastle play footy and count em as their second club

  • AS Roma Fan says:

Up your donut ManCity….ter, I am a real Man United Fan and I am sure Bolton will be champions in the next season! And to prove that I am a Man Uited fan, my fav player is Tevez….see I proved it!

  • ManU Fan says:

Eh hello, someone’s trying to impersonate me. AAArrrgh, I give up…it’s really hard to be a true ManU fan nowadays. Screw all your nuts!
