Son Heung-min Former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea Sporting Director has warned Newcastle off making a move for South Korean starlet Son Heung-min, but will Magpies manager Alan Pardew take no for an answer?

Now in the Bundesliga with Hamburg, Arnesen is trying to build something at the Imtech Arena and sees 19-year-old Son Heung-min as central to that.

His stance towards the South Korean striker is pretty simple as he told German newspaper Bild: “He is good. We won’t sell him.”

The decision may well be out of his hands though, as there is no doubt that the Premier League will be a big draw for the South Korean youngster, as Heung-min will have seen the god-like status Park Ji Sung now has due to his time at Manchester United.

As for Heung-min, he is just in his second senior season with Hamburg, but has already been nicknamed the ‘Korean Muller’ after legendary German striker Gerd Muller.

Heung-min may be at the very beginning of his domestic career, but has already played eight times for his senior national team, scoring against India in the 2011 Asian Cup.

Valued in the region of £4 million, according to his own website Son Heung-min is a genuine all-rounder, an excellent striker, a football prodigy, the future of perfect football no less!

He’s signed up to the Bundesliga club for another two years and has been labelled as ‘something special’ by Ruud van Nistelrooy; a striker who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net at the top level of English football.

Something that Heung-min has done that Newcastle are in need of this week, is netting a goal against Chelsea, which he did in a previous pre-season campaign for Hamburg. Here is that strike…

So, will Arnesen’s stance put off Newcastle from making a move or will Pardew not take no for an answer?
