Newcastle United drew 0-0 with Porto in their latest pre-season friendly on Saturday evening, and some fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Martin Dubravka’s brilliant display in goal for the Magpies.
Porto dominated for much of the match at the Estadio do Dragao and hit the woodwork twice but could not find a way past a dogged Newcastle defence and an inspired display from Dubravka.

OPINION
These fans are obviously enamoured by Dubravka after this wonderful display, and it is easy to see why. Dubravka proved his worth while on loan from Sparta Prague during the second half of last season, impressing from the off in a 1-0 debut win over Manchester United. Converting that loan to a permanent deal for a fee of around £4million was a no-brainer for Rafa Benitez, who looks to have unearthed a real gem in the 29-year-old Slovak. It will be interesting to see how he gets on with full Premier League season, but the signs are there to suggest he could be up there with the best goalkeepers in the league. These Newcastle fans certainly seem to think so.
