Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez remains in the hunt on the transfer market for new additions, after landing his first January signing this week with the capture of Brazilian starlet Kenedy on-loan from defending champions Chelsea.

The Spaniard is chasing at least two more names before next week’s deadline, as he seeks to land a top-class striker and a new first-choice goalkeeper; reportedly ready to make another move in an attempt to land the latter.

Sparta Prague’s Martin Dubravka is the prime target for Benitez as he looks to replace Rob Elliot and Karl Darlow in the first-team frame but, having already seen one approach for the Slovakian rebuffed, the Magpies need an alternative.

Therefore, these three options would provide a good opportunity for Newcastle and the Tyneside giants would be well advised to consider an approach for one of these established names.
