Newcastle United have performed admirably in their return to the Premier League this season but endured a disappointing result last Monday, with a 1-0 defeat to Burnley bringing an end to a three-match unbeaten run.
The Magpies missed the chance to rise to sixth in the table and run the risk of dropping into the bottom half over the course of the weekend if results go against them, with major concerns about their attacking options and consistency in front of goal.
Rafael Benitez’s side have scored just three goals in the past four Premier League matches, a ratio that needs to improve significantly, but the fans are still optimistic ahead of this weekend’s clash with Bournemouth.
Newcastle welcome the Cherries to St. James’ Park on Saturday, with Eddie Howe’s side sat second-bottom in the division, although their confidence will have been raised by victories over Stoke City and Middlesbrough in recent weeks- then narrowly defeated by Chelsea last weekend.
Despite that, fans are confident all three points will remain on Tyneside and have shared their predictions on social media.
I'm confident about tomorrow. Not sure what type of game it'll be, but I think we'll get the three points. You? #NUFC

2-0 I reckon comfortable win but not too exciting

I think we will win. But we need to start being the team on top and creating more chances. As it stands we are painful to watch at times.
