3 pieces of dead wood that Rafa should cash in on at Newcastle

|

Henri Saivet

Spending last season on-loan at St. Etienne, where he failed to impress, Henri Saivet has endured a very difficult time at Newcastle United since signing for the club in January 2016 and his first-team opportunities are unlikely to improve.

The 26-year-old versatile player has failed to earn the trust of Rafael Benitez and his only openings seem likely to be in the cup competitions- although their early exit at the hands of Nottingham Forest means that his earliest opening will probably be in January when the Magpies’ FA Cup campaign commences.

Sat outside the squad consistently, it’s a waste for Newcastle and Saivet himself- so a sale in the new year should be a priority.
