Newcastle could pull off a shock move for Lucas Vazquez.

Vazquez has been in and around the Real Madrid side over the last two seasons but the likely arrival of Kylian Mbappe will reduce his prospects of regular top team action.
Signing a striker and bringing in a new goalkeeper are Benitez’s signing priorities with Vazquez a cut above the other strikers that Newcastle have been linked with.
Last month the Newcastle boss was disappointed to lose out on Tammy Abraham to Swansea but bringing in Vazquez would more than make up for the blow of missing out on the Chelsea striker.
Vazquez is believed to be open to moving to England with the Rafa connection giving Newcastle a head start in the race for the 26-year-old who has three full caps for Spain.
