Newcastle have again been linked with Kiko Casilla.
According to a report in The Chronicle the Real Madrid back up keeper has been linked with a move to Newcastle by the Spanish media.
Casilla has only managed to make 15 appearances in two seasons for Real and is looking to move on with a big name keeper expected to join the Champions League holders during the close season.
Bringing in a new keeper has been a priority for Rafa Benitez since Newcastle clinched their return to the Premier League despite having four experienced goalies at the club.
Pepe Reina appears to be the first choice but it seems that he is close to agreeing a new contract to extent his stay with Napoli.
With Joe Hart likely to cost around £18m in a transfer fee plus top wages of £120,000 a week bringing in Casilla could offer far better value for money to solve a problem position.
