Murphy the man

Ever since he arrived on Tyneside, it’s fair to say Daryl Murphy has been looked upon largely as a third choice and not someone who will play a huge part in their promotion push.

Still, it seems Benitez has been turning to the Irishman recently and his goal will surely put him contention for more first-team appearances, particularly with Mitrovic injured.
