Newcastle United are tracking Partizan Belgrade defender Nikola Milenkovic, according to reports in Serbia (via fusstballtransfers.com). The centre back is also said to be interesting Dutch side Ajax.
Milenkovic is only 19 years of age but has already made his senior debut for Serbia, playing in the 3-0 defeat against Qatar at the end of last month. The Serbian is 6ft 5 and has been tipped for a big future but has only been a regular in the Partizan team since the start of this season.
He was sent out loan to Teleoptik last campaign, and made 13 league appearances. He did also start four matches for Partizan at the end of last season when he returned from his loan spell and made his debut against Mladost Lucani in a league match.
The defender did start off this season on the bench but has become a regular first team player after starting against Javor Ivanjic back in late August.
