Real Madrid will wait until Manchester United have sealed the signing of Paul Pogba before making a bid for Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Red Devils are believed to be close to securing a £100m move for the Juventus midfielder, which is beyond even Real’s finances, but the Spanish side want to make sure they have lost out on their number one target before turning their attention to his France international teammate.

The Telegraph report that the Champions League winners are confident that £30million will be enough to seal the deal for Sissoko, £5million below Newcastle’s reported valuation of the 26 year old.

It has also emerged that three other clubs have made their interest known to the Magpies for the Frenchman. Borussia Dortmund, Everton and Juventus (who will be looking for a replacement for Pogba) are all believed to have made enquiries for Sissoko, along with West Bromwich Albion earlier on in the summer.
