OPINION
Jarrod Bowen has been in sensational form for Hull City this season. The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Newcastle United recently with the Daily Star reporting that the Magpies could table a bid for him in the January transfer window. In Bowen’s first performance since that report, he scored two goals in a 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough on Sunday. It is no surprise, as a result, to see so many Newcastle fans taking to Twitter to urge the club to sign Bowen. After his brace at The Riverside, the former Hereford attacker has now scored 12 goals and supplied two assists in 18 appearances across all competitions for Hull this season. Bowen is young, already on Newcastle’s radar, in the form of his career and scoring goals for fun. The only worry would be that Bowen is only doing this in the Championship, but for a young player playing so well, he’s worth the risk.
