Newcastle United entertain a red-hot Manchester City side in the Premier League on Tuesday night, and Rafa Benitez must make seven changes to his starting XI.

The Magpies only have the Premier League to focus on for the remainder of the season after their FA Cup exit at the hands of Watford over the weekend, with the Hornets winning 2-0 at St. James’ Park.

Opponents City had no such trouble as they blasted their way into the fifth round with a 5-0 thrashing of Burnley at home, with Pep Guardiola’s men now looking to pile some pressure on Liverpool with another big win over the Magpies.

In goal, Martin Dubravka must replace Freddie Woodman.

Three changes must come in defence, with DeAndre Yedlin replacing Javier Manquillo while Florian Lejeune comes back into the side for Ciaran Clark and Fabian Schar replaces Jamaal Lascelles. Federico Fernandez and Matt Ritchie must remain in place.

Another change must come in midfield with the returning Mo Diame replacing Isaac Hayden, with youngster Sean Longstaff getting another deserved start.

Two further switches come in attack with Ayoze Perez replacing Jacob Murphy and Salomon Rondon coming in for Joselu, while under-fire ace Kenedy must keep his place.

The Brazilian may be in bad form but he has far more quality than Atsu and that will be key against a City side which will not give away many opportunities.

This is a Newcastle side which could potentially spring a surprise and shock City by snatching a draw on Tuesday night.
