COMMENTARY
Kenedy may have only made a cameo appearance against Wolves but Newcastle fans were fuming with him after they believed he contributed to their side losing 2-1 on Sunday. One fan was so incensed that while annihilating the winger, who earns £25,000-a-week (Source: Spotrac), they urged the Magpies to get rid of him. Kenedy triggered fans anger due to the perceived lack of effort he put in when trying to keep up with eventual Wolves goalscorer Matt Doherty in the dying minutes that remained. Several pointed out that the Brazilian who should have been full of energy after just entering the game should have been able to keep up with Doherty who had worked tirelessly for his team and as a result was on his last legs. However that wasn’t the case as Kenedy looked the player unwilling to run for his team despite having spent most of the match all nice and comforty on the Magpies’ bench.
