Newcastle United must hijack Wolves reported pursuit of Sheffield Wednesday winger Adam Reach as he could get St James Park buzzing with delight once again.

The Magpies are yet to register a win this season across any competitions which has caused the mood at St James Park to turn sour as a result.

Yet with the right player then fans could find themselves going wild once again in the stands as exciting football being played once again at St James Park would put a smile back on the face of supporters.

The ideal player to target is Reach who is currently in red-hot form and scoring goals worthy of any highlight reel.

The left-sided flyer has scored five goals in his 13 appearances so far, and even registered two assists, to aid his side’s cause.

The Sun reported on Sunday that the Magpies’ Premier League rivals, Wolves, had been scouting Reach in recent times and were now planing to launch an attempt to get him upon the January window opening.

Given the superb form the flyer is currently in then this comes as no surprise, as there is probably a host of clubs sniffing around the 25-year-old’s services as his beautiful goals have captured the headlines.

Reach, may previously have featured for the Magpies’ local rivals Middlesbrough, but given that he practically is a human highlight reel, then the Magpies must hijack Wolves’ pursuit of him as the in-form flyer can get St James Park buzzing for the right reasons.

Also it was reported by the Chronicle early this month, that Benitez had made it one of the club’s big priorities in January to recruit a new winger and given that Reach can play on either flank, then he certainly fits the bill.

Therefore the Magpies must do all they can to ensure the in-form 25-year-old joins them in January.
