Many Newcastle United supporters on social media destroyed Joselu for his performance during the 2-0 loss to Leicester City.
The Spanish attacker started the game against the Foxes and fans were left fuming with his latest display and couldn’t hide their rage on Twitter.
One fan tweeted that Joselu was absolutely atrocious while another supporter while tearing apart several Magpies players, claimed that the forward was worse than awful.

Newcastle so, so poor right now.
Joselu, what are you doing!— Chris Parry (@ChrisParry903) September 29, 2018
Absolutely hopeless. I love Rafa but how you continue to start Joselu is absolutely mental. Completely nullifies any ability to attack at pace. Muto must be absolutely awful!

OPINION
Poor Joselu. He seems like a lovely guy who just wants to do the best for the Magpies as he constantly works hard and covers a lot of ground to aid his side’s cause. However he is the Magpies’ main attacking threat and it’s simply up to him to deliver the goals. Yet once against during the Magpies’ latest outing, Joselu fluffed his lines and wasted a golden chance to get a goal for his team as well as to aid his personal cause. In the 17th minute of the game all Joselu needed to do was fire a shot at goal and he could have scored or he could have knocked the ball across to Matt Ritchie to tap home, however he did neither. Instead he held onto the ball so long that he ended up being tackled. Given that one fan tweeted he was worse than awful, it’s hard to disagree with that opinion after that incident in particular.
