Many Newcastle United supporters on social media celebrated the news that the club had officially signed Kenedy from Chelsea on loan for the upcoming campaign.
The Magpies revealed that a deal for Kenedy had been done via their official website with them revealing that he was already in Ireland at the club’s pre-season training camp.
This news sent a lot of Magpies fans into party mode with one claiming that their side was now going to win the league, while another stated on Twitter that they were absolutely buzzing about Kenedy joining.

OPINION
Kenedy who stands at 6ft tall (Transfermarkt) is the arrival that Magpies fans have been waiting for since the transfer window opened. While some supporters may be sad that it’s only another loan, they will still be thrilled that the club will at least have him for the 2018/19 campaign. The left-footed winger wowed everyone at St James Park with his performances while on loan from Chelsea last season and there’s every reason to suggest that he will continue to be a success at the club. Kenedy featured 13 times for Rafa Benitez’s side scoring two goals, while assisting two, in the process after joining the club in January so his figures will hopefully be even higher now that he’s set to spend a whole campaign with the club.
