Newcastle United fans should be crying out for a new wide sensation to arrive at St James’ Park over the summer after the departure of loan star Kenedy back to Chelsea.

The Magpies are in desperate need of some extra creativity in wide positions going into next season and that is why they should consider entering the hunt to sign Championship ace Jarrod Bowen.

The Sun reports that Everton are reportedly preparing a £12million bid to sign the Hull City attacker, who has just enjoyed a stunning campaign in England’s second-tier.

It is understood that Hull would prefer not to lose their right-winger, but will try spark a bidding war if they end up losing him.

Newcastle should join the race to try sign the 21-year-old that could be a phenomenal talent at St James’ Park in the coming years.

The right-winger dazzled for a struggling Hull side in the recent season, scoring 15 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions.

He is a skilful winger that he has an eye for goal and the English rising star has bags of ability that Newcastle boss Benitez could help fully exploit.

Newcastle will surely have to go smash their £16million club-record transfer fee at some point in the near future if they are to establish themselves as Premier League regulars again and won’t be able to get by on such little attacking ammunition for much longer.

The club have to back Benitez to add some quality in the final third to blend nicely with the defensive unit and Bowen is an upcoming talent that would be worth splashing the money on.
