Newcastle United’s inconsistency in front of goal this season has been a major issue for Rafael Benitez, who will be looking to bolster his attacking options at the end of the campaign when the transfer window opens for the summer.

A host of names have already been linked with a move to St. James Park and Newcastle have now received encouragement to sign one experienced forward, who has revealed it’s his dream to play in the Premier League.

In comments cited by Sport Witnessit’s claimed that the Magpies remain interested in Mainz forward Yoshinori Muto and he’s opened the door to a potential move to Tyneside at the end of the current campaign.

“I cannot say much, but it has always been my goal to play in the Premier League.”

Scoring nine goals this season, 25-year-old Muto may find it difficult to secure a work permit to move to England as he has not been called-up by Japan’s national side since October 2017 and is likely to miss this summer’s World Cup.
