Paul Dummett and Kenedy
Bringing much-needed balance to a Newcastle team suffering the adverse effects of lopsidedness, the bond forged by Dummett and Chelsea loanee Kenedy has brought stability and security to a left-hand side that was constantly exploited by opponents earlier in the season.
The pair have played pivotal roles in United’s resurgence this calendar year and will be confident of subjugating the impact of Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin, knowing the danger that his menacing pace and proclivity to attack can pose.
Co-operation will be key for the pair, especially since Kenedy will regularly be asked to track the runs of Bellerin and work in tandem with Dummett to squeeze the space and time afforded to the Gunners’ attacking outlets.
