Newcastle United have benefitted from their January additions in the form of Martin Dubravka and Kenedy, both of whom have impressed during their loan stints at St. James’ Park.

Rafael Benitez is understood to want to secure both players in a permanent move this summer but the race for Chelsea’s Kenedy is heating up, as the Brazil talent’s performances have caught the eye of a number of sides.

The Northern Echo states Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old and may attempt to persuade Chelsea into a sale this summer, although that could be an issue due to the direct rivalry between the pair.

Kenedy has netted two goals and provided two assists since moving to Tyneside in January and his breakthrough has certainly caught the eye, providing Benitez with a huge talent if he’s to land the South American on a permanent deal.

However, it has been claimed that the 22-year-old is open to moving to Tyneside this summer.
