Newcastle United have battled away from the relegation zone following a run of three consecutive victories, allowing Rafael Benitez to begin to plan his summer transfer business.

The Magpies are widely reported to be keen on turning the loan stints of both Kenedy and Martin Dubravka into permanent deals in the close season but it seems they may face immense difficulties in a chase for the former.

Sky Sports News state the performances of Chelsea-owned Kenedy for the Tyneside outfit this season have caught the eye of two of Europe’s heavy-hitters, with both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain attributed with an interest in the Brazilian.

The 22-year-old has performed superbly for Newcastle since moving to the club in January and has suggested he’s open to making his switch permanent, although a transfer to Munich or Paris may be more appealing.

Kenedy would certainly face an immense battle to establish himself at either European side though and Newcastle could remain as the best option for him to continue his development.
