With the January transfer window closed, the season has now advanced into it’s most important stage and Newcastle United face a fierce fight to retain their Premier League status.
Rafael Benitez’s side sit just a single point above the relegation zone heading into a testing run of matches, which sees them tackle top-four hopefuls Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in the coming weeks.
That run of games could hand Newcastle’s survival hopes a significant blow, as they may find themselves in the relegation zone after that run, but the Magpies have shown enough to escape from the threat of relegation this season.
