Newcastle United are desperate to improve their attacking options in the January transfer window, having struggled for consistency so far this season.

The Magpies fought back from 2-0 down on Tuesday evening to draw 2-2 with West Brom, ending a run of four consecutive defeats in the process, but Rafael Benitez will continue to look for improvements from his side.

Benitez is likely to move for a striker in January and he’s received a boost for one reported target, as Belgian outlet DH claim highly-rated striker Hassan Bande would cost just £4m in the January transfer window.

Bande has caught the eye this season with some exceptional performances, as the 19-year-old has netted nine goals in just 13 appearances so far this season.

However, Newcastle will face an array of competition in the market for the teenager as it’s stated the likes of Wolfsburg, Sevilla, Valencia and Benfica are amongst those also interested in his signature.
