Newcastle United have performed to expectations this season but risk slipping down the Premier League standings after a recent dip in form, that’s seen them lose back-to-back matches against Burnley and Bournemouth.
Rafael Benitez could find himself in a much stronger position in January though as takeover talks continue to rumble on behind the scenes, with the aim for a deal to be completed before Christmas- that would hand the Spaniard money to spend.
Newcastle will be looking to land top-class and established Premier League players to help them in their quest and attempting to lure players from one of English football’s bigger teams would be ideal- and Arsenal could be the perfect target.
The Gunners are facing a tide of change themselves and, as such, many players could be on the move. This could work into Newcastle’s favour and these three players should be targeted in the New Year.
