Newcastle United have performed admirably in their return to the Premier League this season but there’s still work to be done as they look to find stability in the top-flight.
The Magpies are in danger of slipping down the standings after just one win in five matches, where Rafael Benitez’s side have scored just three goals and have lost back-to-back matches against Burnley and Bournemouth 1-0.
A sense of optimism has washed over the club due to ongoing takeover talks, with the aim of a deal being concluded by the festive season, and that could hand Benitez money to spend in January to improve his squad.
As Newcastle look to build themselves up once again, they could find it difficult to lure big name players to the club and an ideal move in January should see them focus on landing players from the second-tier of English football.
The Championship certainly has some very good players and these three additions would be ideal for the Magpies.
