Still in the international squad, Jesse Lingard has a lot of work to do to keep his place due to the plethora of talent he’s up against. Far from a regular starter at Manchester United, a decision may need to be made in January and Newcastle could be the ideal option.
Likely to be a loan move, Lingard could get the regular openings he craves for at St. James’ Park which would give his chances of making Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad a huge boost. He’d arrive with plenty of Premier League experience too, which may be decisive.
