Whilst he still remains a part of the national set-up, Jesse Lingard has a big second-half of the season ahead of him as he looks to become a regular starter for Manchester United and aims to cement his spot within Gareth Southgate’s squad.
United’s plethora of attacking options though, which already sees Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford utilised out wide, means that Lingard may not get the football he craves- and a move to a side like Newcastle, where he’d be a key-player, would certainly boost his international credentials.
