The England U20 goalkeeper enjoyed a fine summer, winner the World Cup with the Three Lions, and is now one of many members of that squad looking to make a name for himself in the Premier League. Yet to make his debut, this could be a breakout year.
It’s always difficult for a young goalkeeper to get an opening but Woodman certainly has the attributes to be a useful asset and could get his chance to make an impression as the season progresses, particularly when the FA Cup comes around in the New Year.
