Newcastle could cash in on missing out on Joe Hart- by signing Darren Randolph from West Ham.

According to a report in The Chronicle the arrival of Hart at the London Stadium will see current current first choice keeper Randolph offloaded with Newcastle likely to be offered the Irish keeper.

Newcastle had been linked with Hart but City have found little interest in signing the England keeper due to his current wage.

The deal with West Ham will see City continue to pay 50% of his wages leaving City and the keeper in limbo again next season.

Randolph has been a consistent stopper for West Ham but it remains to be seen if he is of the standard that Benitez is looking for.

Despite having Kark Darlow and Tim Krul on the books the Spaniard seems determined to bring in a new keeper with Hart, Pepe Reina and Willy Caballero all linked to Newcastle.
