Robert Snodgrass is a transfer target for Newcastle United.

According to a report on Football London the West Ham midfielder is also being watched by Brighton, Leeds United and Norwich City.

Snodgrass moved to West Ham in January after an impressive start to the season at Hull but he failed to recapture that form at the London Stadium.

The Scotland internationalist scored seven Premier League goals in 19 appearances for Hull which is exactly the sort of form that Newcastle are looking for.

Rafa Benitez is looking for players familiar with the Premier League with Snodgrass spending the last half dozen season yo-yoing between the top two divisions.

Despite signing Jacob Murphy from Norwich Benitez is looking to bring in another wide player with Snodgrass fitting the bill as well as carrying a genuine goal threat.

West Ham paid £8m for Snodgrass and would be looking for a similar fee for the 29-year-old who has also played in the top flight for Norwich City.
