Newcastle face a four way fight to sign Yann Karamoh.

According to a report on TalkSPORT the young Caen striker is also in the thoughts of Everton, West Ham and Southampton.

Karamoh caught the eye last season with five goals in his first season in Ligue 1 with the French league one of the most heavily scouted in the world.

Despite the departure of chief scout Graham Carr Newcastle have an extensive scouting network across France which picked out Karamoh who turns 19 next Saturday.

With a year left on his contract Caen are likely to be forced into selling the striker this summer as they are unable to compete with the offers coming in from England.

Having enjoyed a season of top team football with Caen the striker won’t be jumping at the highest salary but instead look at where he is most likely to get the chance to play first team football.
