Newcastle United defender Lewis Gibson is in high demand with six clubs reportedly chasing the 16 year old, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Everton, Celtic, Manchester United, Manchester City, Southampton and Arsenal are all believed to be keeping tabs on the the England Under 17 international.
The centre half is currently away on international duty at the European Under 17 Championships and he will likely be in the starting lineup for the first group match against Norway on Thursday.
As well as gaining England recognition, the youngster has also risen through the youth team ranks very quickly with the Magpies. After making his debut for the Under 18s at the beginning of last season, he progressed to playing for Peter Beardsley’s Under 23s last January, making two appearances in Premier League 2.
This campaign he has made appearances for the Under 18s in the FA Youth Cup, playing in the fifth round against Sunderland in a 4-3 victory, as well as the sixth round in the 5-3 defeat to Tottenham.
