Newcastle could allow three goalkeepers to leave the club this summer, according to the Chronicle.

Magpies boss Rafa Benitez is believed to be lining up another first choice keeper and is looking to make room for his new arrival. Tim Krul, Matz Sels and Freddie Woodman could all be allowed to leave either on loan or permanently.

Krul has failed to impress during his loan spells at AZ Alkmaar and Ajax this season after recovering from a serious knee injury, and will likely be sold with one year left on his contract. Sels meanwhile looks set to depart on loan after failing to establish himself as first choice after making the £6.5m move from Gent at the start of the season.

Woodman’s situation at the club is slightly different. The 20 year old has impressed on loan during the second half of the season at Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock. He has made 15 appearances for the first team after becoming the club’s number one keeper.

The England Under 21 international is rated highly by Benitez but it seems likely he will be allowed to leave on loan again next season so he can gain more first team experience.
