Newcastle are among a host of clubs pursuing Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez, according to Sport. The 21 year old reportedly has a €6m (£5m) release clause in his contract which is attracting interest from both the Premier League and La Liga.

Ramirez only joined Malaga from Barcelona last summer on a free transfer to gain more first team football, and despite missing a number of games due to a hamstring injury, he has gone on to make 28 appearances this season, scoring 15 goals in all competitions.

Sport reports that both Tottenham and Stoke City have a long standing interest in Ramirez with managers Mauricio Pochettino and Mark Hughes having made bids to sign him the past.

The Magpies will have their work cut out to land the Spaniard with Southampton, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Villarreal all also keeping tabs on the forward. The striker’s low buyout clause means Ramirez will have a large number of offers when the summer transfer window opens.
