Growing ever more into his captain role, Newcastle United skipper Jamaal Lascelles has given a public show of support to teammate Rolando Aarons.
Following confirmation from the club that the 21-year-old midfielder had suffered yet another terrible injury, the 23-year-old central defender has moved to try and console his friend on Twitter.

It’s just the latest injury issue for the former Bristol City trainee, having injured himself in training while recovering from a broken bone in his foot picked up earlier this season.
Just what sort of impact such long-term ailments will have on the England U20 international remains to be seen, though his burgeoning career has been blighted by them so far.
Despite showing some promise across the last few years, Aarons has struggled for consistency in what has been a terrible few years for the club as a whole.
Still, it’s good to see Lascelles growing into his role as captain ever more.
