Newcastle United are seemingly riding the crest of a wave in the Championship right now, despite a tough start under Rafa Benitez.
The Magpies are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship after a stunning run of form and are seemingly hell-bent on securing a quick-fire return to the proverbial Promised Land.
With the Spaniard in charge at St. James’ Park, the club as a whole appears to have been lifted behind his stoic figure and are once again united.
After so many fragmented years, Tyneside is once again together in a harmonious battle cry as they plot what could be a long and prosperous future under the 56-year-old.
Though their most recent win was a relatively difficult affair against Cardiff City at home, the Magpies are finally winning when they’re not playing well.
A quality not seen in black and white shirts for a number of years now.
In fact, during the last two seasons, they’ve hardly won even when they ARE playing well.
