After the busiest transfer window in recent memory for the club, it seems the deals keep rolling in and out of Newcastle United.

With Florian Thauvin widely reported to now officially be a Marseille player, the confines of the transfer window don’t appear to be blocking the changing Tyneside transfer winds.

Non-league side Blyth Spartans have revealed that they’ve struck an agreement with the Magpies over the loaning of goalkeeper Paul Woolston on their official website.

The 18-year-old has already spent time with Darlington this year and will link up with the Green Army and go straight into their squad for the game with Barwell.

Having impressed with various youth levels with England, Woolston has previously been linked with moves to other Premier League clubs in recent months.

Options between the sticks are very strong for Rafa Benitez right now, with summer signing Matz Sels joining the likes of Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot in the squad.
