Mike Ashley shirtFollowing Newcastle United’s uneventful transfer window, Newcastle fans have started to turn on owner Mike Ashley again, with talks of boycotts and marches, but here’s one shirt to get your message across!

It’s been a big week for Mike Ashley, as his sport retail business Sports Direct is set to enter the FTSE 100 and profits continue to rise.

However, unlike pretty much all other Premier League clubs, Newcastle decided not to use any of the lump sum they will get from increased TV revenue at the end of the season.

Borrowing money isn’t always a good idea, just ask people who use Wonga, but when you’re guaranteed the money in less than a year’s time there isn’t much of a risk.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew said: “They all expected a marquee signing, although I have to say a marquee signing would have taken us into our overdraft facility. That was something we really didn’t want to do, although there were two or three bids that went in that would have definitely put us in that.”

As a result of a lack of business, Newcastle have risked being left behind in the Premier League, and despite bringing financial stability to the club, many people have just had enough of Ashley.

If you have, then this is the football shirt for you!

Would buy that in a heartbeat, no merchandise being spent by me till Ashley is gone or he changes his perception of ambition

This is my shirt, and my design. I’m trying to find a way of getting it to ‘market’ without getting arrested. Basically, It’s a vinyl transfer heat pressed over the original. The artwork took a bit of time…

Looking at options. Hundreds of people want these – and those hundreds, wearing them on Northumberland St – would make thousands.
