Newcastle United make the long trip down to Premier League strugglers Bournemouth later today.
While it’s important to retain some degree of perspective in that this season has been an excellent campaign so far, Eddie Howe’s side are in need of a win.
Three points would take them level with third-placed Manchester United for a few hours at least, while Tottenham in fifth could even have leapfrogged into the top four Newcastle before a ball is kicked at the Vitality Stadium.
After four draws in their last five League games, Newcastle simply have to beat a team currently in the bottom three. Frankly, anything other than a victory would be a huge disappointment.
