Newcastle United begin the 2022/23 Premier League season at home to Nottingham Forest.
Eddie Howe’s side are looking to push their way up the division after a strong end to the last campaign, this time the first full season under the PIF ownership.
It’s a difficult-looking start to the year, with a trip to Brighton, a home game to Manchester City and a visit to Liverpool all on the cards before the end of August.
With the season stopping for the World Cup in November, Howe’s last game before the break will be a home game with Chelsea before domestic action resumes with a trip to Leicester on Boxing Day.
The festive fixture schedule brings a home game with Leeds United on New Year’s Eve before a trip to Arsenal on January 2nd.
It has been a difficult summer for the club on a recruitment basis so far but Howe will hope to have the bulk of his transfer activity done before newly-promoted Forest visit.
