Yesterday, after over three weeks of the window, Newcastle United finally strengthened their squad following their confirmation that Schalke’s former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Nabil Bentaleb, had joined the Magpies on loan.
Indeed, while he may not be the sort of goal threat to help supplement Joelinton and Andy Carroll many may want, the fact that the Toon Army had finally moved in the market pleased an awful lot of supporters online. In fact, the image of the Algerian international donning the club’s famous black and white kit went down a storm.

While he was unavailable for last night’s game with Everton, the fact the club have brought in a player with Premier League and Champions League experience has excited a number of supports on social media.
