may be in great form for at the moment but it would seem as though there is little he can do to win the affection of supporters of the USA national team. Yedlin, 26, played just under an hour in the USA’s 4-0 win against Cuba on Tuesday night but was widely criticised for his performance. It was a straightforward victory for the Americans as they ensured they would finish top of their CONCACAF Nations League group but Yedlin failed to impress despite him being the only player to feature in the starting line-up. Do the American just have it in for players who aren’t playing in the ? Or was Yedlin actually that bad? Because it seems hard to believe that a right-back can be blasted for his display in an easy 4-0 win where Cuba offered very little threat going forward. Maybe Yedlin is just their scapegoat.
