has posted a clip of himself embarrassing team-mate in training.

The ex- won the ball off the Brazilian before dummying him several times to the point that the club’s record-signing slipped and hit the deck.

Carroll has now taken to his personal Instagram account to send a message to his fellow striker.

“Nope, not today Joelinton,” he said. “Don’t go for those.”

OPINION

Carroll and Joelinton must get on together quite well for the Geordie striker to post this on social media because the Brazilian got absolutely humiliated in that clip. At least he’s doing that on the training ground and not on the pitch but as funny as it is to see Joelinton falling over, it is good to see Carroll looking sharp. He won possession in the clip and managed to keep the ball well before moving it on to one of his team-nates. It will be great to see the former target man to do that on the pitch if he gets much game-time any time soon. Joelinton is bound to keep starting with Carroll coming off the bench but it would be great to see the ex-West Ham man get a start or two in the coming weeks, just to see what he is really capable of. We are yet to see much of Carroll since his return but hopefully that changes during the hectic festive period.
