OPINION

With Newcastle scouts appearing to start scouting the Tanzanian talisman more as time goes on, it seems their interest is continuing to grow towards the January window. They would definitely kick themselves if not, with the African forward having a £10million release clause, which would make him more than a bargain in the current day market. The 26-year-old knows how to find the back of the net with ease, and has already scored eight goals in all competitions this season. Add that on top of the 32 goals he scored in the last campaign, and Newcastle could be onto a real winner in their pursuit. The number of clubs interested proves that Samatta hasn’t gone under-the-radar as the could have uncovered a real gem, but that won’t be the case and will most likely need to cough up the cash early in January to get the deal done ahead of every other club.
